1988

Bek Kheng Lee founded General Latex Pte Ltd. The company focused on designing and fabricating equipment for the Latex industry.

1991

Company was renamed as Azen Manufacturing Pte Ltd. The core Business of Azen is to design and manufacture Pollution Control Equipment and Paint Finishing System.

1995

Azen purchased and moved into our own property at No. 29 Kian Teck Drive Singapore 628846

1998

We entered into a Joint Venture with Twin City Fan Companies, Ltd, one of the largest and oldest fan manufacturers in the world. Azen is repositioned as a Top Quality Designer and Manufacturer of Quality Air Moving Equipment (Mechanical Ventilation Fans).

2002

Azen was awarded a SGD $10 million contract for the supply of close to 1000 units of heavy duty industrial mechanical ventilation fans for the Changi Water Reclamation Plant (CWRP) Project in Singapore. The CWRP project is the world’s largest undercover water treatment plant.

2007

Our star product, the super compact SpiderLeg® Fan is introduced into the market. Boosting a super short fan casing with sturdy spider leg supports, the SpiderLeg® Fan is the perfect choice for applications with extremely tight space constraints.

2007

To tackle the problem of backflow of engine fumes on-board oil rigs, Azen launches our own custom design Engine Exhaust Blower System for the marine industry. Testament to its effectiveness in creating a healthier working environment for people on-board, more than 80 sets were installed on-board various rigs within 2 years of its launch.

2008

With a $0.5 million grant from Spring Singapore, we successfully developed and marketed the BackSwept Impeller. Modelled after the wings of an eagle, our BackSwept impeller, with its unique back swept design, promises the ability to deliver more airflow and overcome higher static pressures, while maintaining low noise emission.

2009

For the first time, Azen receives the Enterprise 50 Award. This makes Azen amongst the Top 50 most enterprising, privately held companies in Singapore.

2010

Azen expands our facility to double our previous size. The move to No. 8 Tuas Link 1 Singapore 638593 greatly increased our manufacturing capacity for accommodating market demand.

2010

Bek Siew Hup (Business Development Manager) was elected as the Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) Pacific Rim Region Chair.

2010

Azen receives the Enterprise 50 Award for the second consecutive year. This award is testament to our successful business model and healthy financial standing.

2011

For the first time, Azen collaborated with Clarage (A Twin City Fan Company), making the start of our entrance into the Heavy Duty Process Market. Together with Clarage, we successfully fabricated, tested, installed the commissioned two units of ID fans) wheel diameter of 3m with a 1,500 kW motor each) for a Flue Gas Desulphurization application that assists in the removal of sulfur dioxide from exhaust emissions.

2011

Bek Siew Hup was elected to serve on the AMCA International Board of Directors. Together with the other Board of Directors, her mission is to advance the health, growth and integrity of the Air Movement and Control Industry.

2011

By the grace of God, Azen receives the Enterprise 50 Award for the third time in a row.
